About ME
My name’s Maria Puma. I am 22 years old currently studying at Le Moyne College. I am dual majoring in Inclusive adolescent/ special education 7-12 social studies. I have been doing photography for more than 8 years now. I love taking pictures of people, nature, sports, as well as so much more. I won a Scholastic Gold Key award in January of 2016 and have previously had numerous photos on display at my former school district’s Expo show. I was asked to take the photos for the ESM district in both their Pine Grove Middle School ribbon cutting for their grand reopening ceremony and for our high school graduation for the four years I was there. I had a few photos published in magazines, and a photo in the Cazenovia magazine “Spilled Ink” in 2019.
For 3 consecutive years I was a member of the ESM morning show doing both video and photography work as well as directing, and technical work.
I've taken photos for 3 first Communions as well as a Bat Mitzvah. During school I would take photos of countless sporting events, and most recently weddings. I have taken portraits, action shots and candid shots.
Photography is my love and my art. The main reason I take pictures is to capture special moments, so they're never forgotten.
